Joe Bastardo's Art

You should click on these photos because it makes them full screen. Which is really essential.

Some good old Anti Establishment art from Joe Bastardo of Worcester, MA for your Wednesday morning, with bonus commentary by yours truly.

Greyhound is a big part of Modern America, such a strange way to travel. You're sharing a bus with all sorts of runaways and ex-cons and assorted nuts. A few months ago I took a 25 hour Greyhound from Ft Pierce, FL to Baltimore, MD. There was this crazy lady with many bags who attempted to steal the seat of a young mother and her child as we boarded after a pit stop. Everyone on the bus sided with the mother and child. The crazy lady got mad and called the mother ugly and then spit on a man who was protesting her actions. She got kicked off the bus. It was like we were in high school or something. Then there was this crackhead from Springfield, MA (figures) who was asking everyone for drugs the whole time and making fun of a young black man known only as "Crazy Eyes" due to his lazy eye. At first I felt bad for Crazy Eyes, but as we drove through Washington, DC he got in a sociology debate with some of the other passengers and attempted to back up every point he made with an arbitrary (and often fabricated) statistic. By the end of the ride, which I spent reading the entirety of Catcher In The Rye, I lost sympathy for all of my fellow passengers. Riding Greyhound is strange.

Nice Tele
Ain't it the truth
